8:00-9:30 am / Fall Fashion Forecast & Runway Fashion Show - What will Fall 2011 Bring? Join us on Monday Morning for a triple barrel impact. Start off with our buffet breakfast immediately followed by the Fall 2011 Forecast, presented by Connie Crawford of Fashion Patterns by Coni, followed by a runway fashion show coordinated by the Independent Pattern Company Alliance (IPCA). Be inspired by fabrics from our exhibitors and patterns from some of the most unique designers in the industry. After the show, visit the IPCA Fashion Pavilion (located near the restaurant area on the show floor) for a closer look at the designs and fabrics.

12 noon - 2:30 pm / Buffet Lunches - Take a break for lunch at our popular buffet lunch right on the exhibit floor. It’s a great way to network with peers, find out what they have seen while shopping, and meet new exhibitors over a relaxing mid-day mean.

1B: Facing Facebook - Why & How to Use It. / presented by Jessica Johnson

Viral marketing with Facebook is easier than you might imagine. Join Jessica to learn the basics of how to set-up a Facebook page for your store. Learn how little time it really takes, how often you should post, what you should post and why it’s so important for your business. You will walk away from this seminar ready to enter the new age of your customers.

2B: How To Teach Sewing On A Budget / presented by Connie Crawford

Connie will give you guidelines and projects in teaching sewing for fabric, craft and sewing stores, youth groups and many community organizations. Describing a very organized, efficient and practical lesson plan requiring minimal preparation time. Your customers will be able to develop basic to advance knowledge of fashion sewing and continue to sew for many years. If you want to nuture a love for sewing and pass the fun on to others , this is the seminar for you.

3A: Sourcing for the Small Manufacturer / presented by Susan Powe

Learn about North American fabric & trim suppliers that have low minimums, quick turn around time and in-stock fabrics + trims, including hard-to-find products such as organic/eco-friendly fabric plus hi-tech fabrics. Find out how mills, converters, distributors, jobbers, agents, and brokers differ and how they may work with you. We’ll also cover cut & sew production. Find contractors who will produce small lots and work with growing companies. Additionally you’ll received information on trade associations and industry service providers who may be of further assistance to you.

The International Textiles Expo is not a consumer show. All buyers who have attended an International Textiles Expo in 2008, 2009 or 2010 can pre-register online. All other buyers must submit a business card and two (2) of the following credentials to pre-register by ail or fax, or to register on site.

1. Photo copy of State Sales and Use Tax Certificate or Federal EIN Certificate.
2. Photocopy of current invoice from vendor indicating business name and address and totaling $ 250.00 or more.
3. Photo copy of Yellow Pages ad or business ad or store lease.
4. Manufacturers: Copy of front of company brochure for products you manufacture.
**New store/company opening: We realize as a new business you may not have credit established or invoices for product. We will accept a copy of either the front of you submitted business plan - OR - copy of store lease - OR - letter indicating intent of opening a business.
